Nasturtium seeds
Now is a great time to collect the seeds from your Nasturtiums.
Don't bother buying more next year, simply collect the green seed pods, dry them on some newspaper in the greenhouse or on the windowsill and plant out next year. The pods will dry and go brown so store them or plant now in a warm greenhouse for an early crop. We use the old compost from Tomato growbags as these plants flourish in poor soil.
The flowers have been pollinated by visiting bees so we get different colours every year. It's great fun and cheap.
One of our neighbours has been doing this for ten years from one packet of seeds.
